Why did they have to make Andy such a complete jerk?
Seriously, he was one of my favorite characters on The Office. I was so happy to see him getting bigger roles and finally getting together with Erin at the end of last season.
But for the final season, he’s been absolutely cruel to Nellie, is basically hated by everyone else in the office, and has lost Erin to Pete. I mean, as much as I’m glad that Erin finally stood up to him and chose the man who wants her to be happy, it saddens me when I think about everything Andy has done in the past to try to get with her. It just feels like all a lie now…
“The Couples Discount” was painful for me to watch because of Andy. Also, the stuff with Jim and Pam and Brian… ugh… I think Jim and Pam will ultimately be okay (I’m pretty sure there’d be a riot if they were to break up at the end) and I know they’re heading in the right direction to fix things, but it’s still hard to watch. The episode needed less plot and more funny moments with supporting characters. There wasn’t much with them expect in the beginning. And where’s Creed when you need him for a hilarious line!?
Hoping the next episode won’t be painful… I hate it when “The Office” episodes get painful to watch…
